Our Camping Trip

Hello Family,

Yes we actually went camping in the mountains. Our camp site was very beautiful. It was peaceful and nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The kids all had a very good time and the grown ups did too once the little ones went to sleep. Nick, Zoe and Little Jimmy had a great time getting filthy and playing. Jimmy especially had fun playing in the leaves and wondering around for the most part untethered. I had to follow him around most of the time to make sure he didn't fall into the campfire so I wasn't much help in camp but that is the way it is with a toddler. It will be much easier camping with him when he gets older.

Unfortunately, it was very cold so we had to leave early. But Barb and Scott are awesome campers and did their best to make sure everyone was comfortable even in those conditions. It actually snowed Friday night. That was very cool.

Thanks to Barb and Scott for everything. This trip would not have been possible without them. Barb put some awesome meals on the table.
