I just added some more paintings to that page. It was so much fun to host that event. Ya'll would not believe the amazingly lovely compliments made about the family portraits and they have all fallen in love with Ava, Zoe and Little Jimmy too. I was and am a proud Grandma! It was very hard to decide which photos to use. Artists look a photos differently than people who are not artists. They look for a subject matter that appeals to them, values (lights and darks) are very important and vital if one decides to paint it and a photo with too many subjects and too many details aren't usually chosen except for the exceptionally good artists.
