I don't know why we can't have the reunion up here in NC. It has never been here. All of the reunions have been held several hours driving away from us.
Yes Dee and I have health problems that makes it difficult. But it is also about finances too.
There is a really cool state park here Morrow Mtn which has campsites and cabins for rent. And it is very beautiful there.
Just an idea tossed out there.

I don't have any Idea at the moment if I can or can't but will give it my best.
I was looking at a web site for Cumberland and it looks so peaceful. For those of us who need that. But looks like a lot of fun for the Teens and we do have a lot of teens in the family.
Don't plan the reunion around my MS health ok. Cause I never know what my MS will or won't do. I don't plan around it. I just do like the rest of y'all and try to just enjoy my life and not miss out on living cause I have MS and stuff.

I will be honest. It will never be possible for me to drive more than a few hours away from home; as much as I would love it I cannot do it any longer. Just driving to Atlanta is extremely hard on me physically. The medications make me very drowsy and it is very unsafe for me to drive far. When I was still working several times I dozed off on the 45 minute drive home while doing 70 mph. It was only a second but it could have been terrible. Same thing driving to Atlanta. Very scarey. So it would be great if the family reunion could be close to home; and I could drive home and sleep in my own bed which is set up to aid me in sleeping without much discomfort.
Please just keep this in mind.
